Founded in 1997 by cyclist Lance Armstrong, the Livestrong Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit headquartered in Austin, Texas, led by CEO Suzanne Stone. Originally named the Lance Armstrong Foundation, it rebranded to Livestrong in 2003. Livestrong empowers cancer survivors through advocacy, grants, and resource navigation—including fertility support, physical activity programs, and survivor-centered policy work—focusing on practical solutions and community resilience rather than medical research.
