About the brand ❤️
Swanson is an American food brand with roots dating to 1899, when Carl A. Swanson entered the food wholesale business in Omaha, Nebraska. The company became well known for poultry and frozen foods and gained particular fame after introducing the TV Dinner in 1953. Swanson was acquired by Campbell Soup Company in 1955 and later became divided between different owners. Today, Conagra Brands owns the Swanson frozen-meal business, while The Campbell’s Company owns Swanson broths and other shelf-stable products.
