About the brand ❤️
Gautrain is a rapid rail public transport system in Gauteng, South Africa, connecting Johannesburg, Pretoria, Ekurhuleni and OR Tambo International Airport. The project was developed as a public-private partnership between the Gauteng Provincial Government and Bombela Concession Company. Construction began after the concession agreement was signed in 2006, with the first passenger services launched in June 2010 ahead of the FIFA World Cup. The network covers about 80 kilometres and includes 10 stations, supported by dedicated feeder buses and midi-buses. The system remains an important part of Gauteng's public transport network.
