Japan Post Holdings is a Japanese government-linked holding company and the parent of the Japan Post Group. Established in 2006 as part of Japan's postal privatization process, it manages the group's overall strategy and oversees major subsidiaries including Japan Post, Japan Post Bank and Japan Post Insurance. The group operates extensive postal, logistics, banking and insurance businesses throughout Japan.
