Caribou Coffee is an American coffeehouse brand founded in 1992 by John and Kim Puckett in Edina, Minnesota. The company developed from a single coffeehouse into an international chain offering handcrafted coffee, espresso drinks, tea, pastries, breakfast items and other food products. Caribou Coffee operates company-owned and franchised locations and has expanded into international markets. In 2024, its consumer packaged coffee business was licensed to JDE Peet’s, while Caribou retained its core coffeehouse operations. Today, the brand operates more than 800 coffeehouses in 11 countries.
