About the brand ❤️
Unión Deportiva Las Palmas (UD Las Palmas) is a historic Spanish professional football club based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands. Founded on 22 August 1949 through the merger of five local clubs, Las Palmas quickly became the sporting symbol of the island region. The team traditionally wears yellow and blue and plays home matches at the Estadio Gran Canaria, a 32,400-capacity stadium built in 2003. UD Las Palmas has spent much of its existence competing in both La Liga and the Segunda División, with periods in Spain’s top tier marked by strong performances and passionate support from the Canary Islands community. Operated as a Sociedad Anónima Deportiva, the club is led by president Miguel Ángel Ramírez Alonso and continues to pursue sporting success domestically while maintaining deep cultural ties to the region it represents.
