About the brand ❤️
Air Aruba was the national airline of Aruba, founded in 1986 and headquartered in Oranjestad. Initially set up as a ground-handling agent, it began scheduled passenger flights in August 1988 following privatization. The airline expanded rapidly, serving destinations across the Caribbean, South America, North America, and Europe. In 1998, Venezuelan carrier Aserca Airlines took majority ownership. Despite its growth, rising operational costs led Air Aruba to cease operations on October 23, 2000, when it declared bankruptcy. Its former website exists today only in archived form.
