Alpha Dog Games was a Canadian mobile, PC, and console game developer founded in 2012 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, by industry veterans Jeff Cameron and Shawn Woods. The studio earned acclaim for titles like Wraithborne and MonstroCity: Rampage, spotlighting console-quality gameplay on mobile. In October 2019, the studio was acquired by Bethesda Softworks (under ZeniMax Media), which itself became part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios via the 2021 ZeniMax acquisition. Alpha Dog Games continued until its closure in May 2024.
