Ambrosoli (full name G.B. Ambrosoli S.p.A.) is an Italian heritage brand specializing in honey, honey-filled sweets and related products. Founded by Giovanni Battista Ambrosoli, the company was officially registered in 1923 in Ronago, in the province of Como, Italy. The founder began as a beekeeper and gradually expanded into honey packaging, then introduced honey candies in 1930 and products like beeswax (“Cera Ambra”) for floor and furniture use. Over the decades the brand has maintained its family ownership, preserving traditional recipes and focusing on high quality raw materials. Ambrosoli sources honey from both Italy and select foreign regions (Argentina, Hungary, Poland, Moldova) to ensure flavour consistency and purity. The company blends tradition with modern methods of packaging and distribution. It remains active today, celebrated especially for its centennial heritage, distinctive marketing campaigns (including memorable jingles), and continuous innovation such as new product lines like “Mielness”.
