Asgrow is an American agricultural seed brand with roots dating to 1927, when Associated Seed Growers, Inc. was formed by the combination of several seed companies. The business became known as Asgrow Seed Company and developed a strong position in field-crop and vegetable seeds. In 1968, Asgrow was acquired by Upjohn, followed by ownership by Empresas La Moderna and then Monsanto in 1996. Bayer acquired Monsanto in 2018, making Asgrow part of Bayer Crop Science. Today, Asgrow focuses primarily on soybean seed varieties and agronomic solutions for American farmers.
