Astralis is a Danish esports organization, founded in 2016 and based in Copenhagen. Over the years, it became one of the most renowned organizations in competitive gaming — especially known for its dominance in Counter-Strike, where its teams achieved record success and helped define esports professionalism in Europe. After several years operating under its original corporate structure, Astralis underwent a change of ownership: on September 5, 2025, it was acquired by Fusion Esports Group, bringing new management under the direction of its co-founder Jakob Lund Kristensen alongside Jonas Gundersen. Despite financial and performance challenges in recent years, the brand continues to operate, now under fresh leadership. Astralis remains active in multiple games and retains its legacy as one of the landmark brands in esports.
