Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) is Austria's state-owned railway group and the country's principal provider of passenger and freight rail transport. Its modern organization consists of ÖBB-Holding AG and three main subsidiaries: ÖBB-Personenverkehr, which operates passenger trains and buses; ÖBB-Infrastruktur, which manages railway infrastructure; and Rail Cargo Austria, which provides international rail freight and logistics services. ÖBB operates extensive domestic and international services, including high-speed Railjet trains and one of Europe's largest night-train networks. The group is wholly owned by the Republic of Austria.
