About the brand ❤️
Auverland was a French manufacturer of rugged four‑wheel‑drive vehicles and light armoured vehicles headquartered in Saint‑Germain‑Laval, France. Established in 1980, the company initially focused on production of Jeep‑like off‑road vehicles and later developed military‑oriented designs that found use with French and international armed forces. Auverland built versatile 4×4 models known for durability and capability in challenging terrain, gaining recognition in both civilian and state contracts. In 2005, Auverland acquired the historic French military vehicle maker Panhard from PSA and subsequently rebranded as Panhard Defense, marking the end of Auverland as a standalone brand. Through this merger, its engineering and designs continued under the Panhard name and contributed to modern tactical vehicle lines.
