About the brand ❤️
BBK Electronics was a major Chinese consumer-electronics conglomerate founded in 1995 in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. Over time it became known for smartphones, smart TVs, Hi-Fi audio, Blu-ray players and other home-entertainment gear. The company spun off its major smartphone brands (such as OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus and Realme) into independent entities, and by 2017 it briefly claimed a global smartphone shipment volume that placed it among the world’s top manufacturers. In April 2023 BBK Electronics formalised its deregistration, marking the end of the corporate entity though its legacy brands continue under new ownership or structure.
