Bee Network is Greater Manchester's integrated public transport and active-travel network, bringing buses, trams, walking and cycling together under a single identity, with local rail being added in stages. The network is coordinated by Transport for Greater Manchester on behalf of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. Its bus franchising programme began in September 2023 and was completed in January 2025, bringing all local bus services under local control. The network aims to provide simpler fares, better connections and more reliable services across Greater Manchester while supporting sustainable travel and reducing dependence on private cars.
