Belavia is the national flag carrier airline of Belarus and the country’s largest commercial aviation company. Founded in 1996 after the reorganization of the Belarusian branch of Aeroflot, the airline operates passenger and cargo services from its main hub at Minsk National Airport. Belavia serves destinations across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The airline operates a fleet primarily consisting of Boeing and Embraer aircraft and provides scheduled, charter, and regional air transport services. Despite international sanctions and route restrictions introduced after 2021, Belavia continues operating domestic and international flights within permitted markets.
