About the brand ❤️
BetEasy was an Australian online sports and racing bookmaker founded in 2014 after Matthew Tripp purchased and rebranded BetEzy. The company underwent several transformations: it was majority-acquired by Crown Resorts (as CrownBet), then merged with William Hill Australia under CrownBet, before being relaunched as BetEasy by The Stars Group in 2018 after acquiring the necessary stakes. Under its owners, BetEasy held licenses in the Northern Territory and was known for offering racing, sports betting, and for partnerships such as its official association with the Australian Football League. In 2020, following a global merger of its parent company with Flutter Entertainment, BetEasy was absorbed into Sportsbet. The brand was retired and its operations consolidated under the Sportsbet name.
