Business (originally Ukrainian Business Channel, UBC) was a specialized Ukrainian TV channel aimed at the business community, focused on economic news, analysis, and related programming. Licensed in June 2007, it began broadcasting in September that year under UBC, rebranded to Business in December 2011. The channel targeted professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors, and even included some programming in English. Over time its ownership included the Ukrainian Business Group and, according to media reports, links to political figures. Despite its niche, it ceased operation on August 1, 2017, citing financial, market, or regulatory pressures. It remains a case study of business media in post-Soviet media landscapes.
