The Christian Peoples Alliance (CPA) is a minor political party in the UK, formed in 1999, originating out of the earlier Movement for Christian Democracy. It is defined by Christian-right / Christian democracy, social conservatism and Euroscepticism. Its leader is Sidney Cordle. CPA seeks to put Christian values into public policy: emphasising family stability, sanctity of life, protecting the vulnerable, caring for the poor, advocating conservative positions on social issues. Its membership and electoral impact are modest; it contests local elections, occasionally national ones, drawing support in areas aligned with its faith-based agenda. It is affiliated with the European Christian Political Movement.
