Chupa Chups is a Spanish confectionery brand best known for its iconic lollipops. It was created in 1958 by Spanish confectioner Enric Bernat, who developed the idea of placing a round candy on a stick so it could be eaten without getting sticky hands. The brand was originally launched under the name Gol before becoming Chupa Chups in 1963. In 1969, Salvador Dalí created the distinctive daisy-shaped logo. Chupa Chups expanded internationally and was acquired by Perfetti Van Melle in 2006, becoming part of its global confectionery portfolio.
