About the brand ❤️
Club Atlético Chacarita Juniors is a historic Argentine football club based in the Villa Crespo district of Buenos Aires, with its home matches played at its stadium in Villa Maipú, Greater Buenos Aires. Founded on 1 May 1906 by a group of local friends, the club has a deep cultural identity tied to its neighbourhood and is nicknamed Los Funebreros (“the Undertakers”) due to its original ground near the Chacarita Cemetery. Over more than a century, Chacarita Juniors has competed across the top tiers of Argentine football, including winning the Primera División championship once in 1969 and featuring in the nation’s competitive leagues. As a member‑run association, it is governed by a club president and board rather than a singular corporate owner, and it actively participates in Argentina’s football league system today. Its colours are traditionally red, black, and white, and it maintains a passionate supporter base with rivalries rooted in regional history.
