Cominar is a Canadian real estate company founded in 1965 by Jules Dallaire in Québec City. Originally focused on developing apartment buildings, the company expanded into commercial, office, retail, industrial and mixed-use properties. Cominar became a publicly traded real estate investment trust in 1998 and grew into one of Québec's largest diversified property owners. In 2022, a consortium of real estate investors acquired Cominar, taking the company private. Today, Cominar owns, operates and develops properties primarily in Québec, with a focus on creating modern mixed-use communities and real estate environments.
