The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) is a Singapore government programme introduced in 2012 to make primary healthcare more affordable. Administered by the Ministry of Health, it provides eligible Singapore citizens with subsidies for medical treatment and dental services at participating private general practitioner and dental clinics. The scheme covers common illnesses, selected chronic conditions and various dental procedures.
