About the brand ❤️
Cortana was a virtual assistant developed by Microsoft, first introduced in 2014 as part of Windows Phone and later integrated into Windows 10 and other Microsoft products. Named after a character from the Halo video game series, Cortana used voice recognition and artificial intelligence to help users perform tasks such as setting reminders, searching the web and managing schedules. Over time, Microsoft shifted its strategy toward productivity-focused AI tools, reducing Cortana’s role in consumer services. By 2023, the standalone Cortana app and many of its features were discontinued, marking the end of its lifecycle as a mainstream digital assistant.
