About the brand ❤️
Croatian Railways, commonly known as HŽ, is the national railway organization of Croatia. It was established in 1990 following the creation of an independent Croatian railway enterprise and became the successor to the former Yugoslav railway organization in Croatia. HŽ historically operated passenger and freight services and managed railway infrastructure. In 2006, the organization was restructured into separate state-owned companies, including HŽ Infrastruktura, HŽ Putnički prijevoz and HŽ Cargo. Today, the HŽ name remains widely associated with Croatia’s national railway system and its passenger and infrastructure services.
