Daedalic Entertainment is a German video game publisher based in Hamburg, founded in 2007 by Carsten Fichtelmann and Jan Müller-Michaelis. The company became particularly known for narrative-driven adventure games such as the Deponia series, Edna & Harvey and The Whispered World, while also publishing strategy, co-op and indie titles. In 2014, Bastei Lübbe acquired a majority stake, which was later sold. Since April 2022, Daedalic has been wholly owned by French publisher Nacon. The company has stopped developing its own games and now concentrates on publishing new and existing titles.
