About the brand ❤️
Dansk Boldspil-Union (Danish Football Association), commonly known as DBU, is Denmark’s national governing body for football. Established in 1889, DBU oversees the organisation, regulation and promotion of football — both at amateur and professional levels — across Denmark. Headquartered in Brøndby, the association administers national teams (men’s, women’s and youth), domestic leagues and cups, grassroots football, and referee licensing among other functions. As a non-profit sports federation, DBU is not “owned” in the commercial sense, but serves as the official institutional authority for football in Denmark. Over more than a century, DBU has played a central role in the development of Danish football, shaping its rules, competitions and national teams — and remains fully active today.
