The brand was established in 1968 with the introduction of its iconic white-label cigars, originally produced in Cuba. After Oettinger took over Zino Davidoff’s Geneva business in 1970, the brand was developed into an international luxury cigar business. Since 1991, Davidoff cigars have been handcrafted in the Dominican Republic using carefully selected tobacco. The brand is known worldwide for its craftsmanship, consistent quality, elegant presentation and premium positioning.
