Dell Dimension was a line of desktop personal computers produced by American technology company Dell. Introduced in 1993, the series was primarily aimed at home users and small businesses and became one of Dell's most recognizable consumer desktop families. Dimension computers were offered in various configurations using processors from Intel and AMD, with models ranging from basic systems to more powerful multimedia and performance PCs. The series remained an important part of Dell's consumer product portfolio throughout the 1990s and 2000s. In April 2007, Dell discontinued the Dimension name and replaced it with newer Inspiron and Studio desktop products.
