Diabetesliitto, also known as the Finnish Diabetes Association, is a Finnish nonprofit organisation founded in 1955. It supports people living with diabetes and their families by providing reliable information, peer support, guidance and educational services. The association works to improve diabetes care, promote prevention and protect the rights of people affected by the condition. It also trains healthcare professionals, shares research-based knowledge and cooperates with local diabetes associations throughout Finland. Through national advocacy and international partnerships, Diabetesliitto aims to improve quality of life and ensure accessible, high-quality diabetes care.
