Ellinair was a Greek airline headquartered in Thessaloniki and owned by the Mouzenidis Group. Founded in 2013 to support the tourist operations of Mouzenidis Travel, it launched its first flight in February 2014. The name combines the Greek word “Έλλην” (Ellin, “Greek”) with “air.” It operated a mix of scheduled and charter services, flying from bases in Thessaloniki and Athens to several European, Russian, and regional destinations. In 2021, the airline suspended operations and returned its aircraft to lessors.
