About the brand ❤️
Farmdrop was a British online grocery company founded in London in 2012 by Ben Pugh. It focused on delivering fresh food directly from local farmers, fishermen and independent producers to consumers, aiming to reduce intermediaries and provide producers with a larger share of the retail price. The service offered groceries, organic products and ethically sourced household goods through its online platform. After several rounds of investment and rapid expansion, Farmdrop failed to secure additional funding and ceased trading in December 2021. The company subsequently entered administration and was formally dissolved in March 2024.
