FC Merani Martvili is a professional Georgian football club based in the town of Martvili that competes in the Erovnuli Liga 2, the second tier of the national league system. Founded in 2006 by Fridon Injia, the club has quickly become a recognized name in Georgian football, known for its red and white colours and balanced team structure. Despite being relatively young compared to some historic Georgian clubs, Merani has enjoyed periods in the top division and achieved notable success in the David Kipiani Cup, reaching the final in 2016. The team plays its home games at the modest 1,850‑seat Murtaz Khurtsilava Stadium and continues to develop local talent while maintaining an active presence in domestic competitions.
