Foodland Ontario is a Canadian consumer promotion program established in 1977 by the Government of Ontario. Operated through the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness, the program promotes food grown, raised, produced and made within the province. Foodland Ontario works with farmers, producers, food processors, retailers and industry organizations to help consumers identify local products through its recognizable logo and marketing campaigns. The program also provides seasonal food information, recipes and resources for consumers and businesses. Its main goal is to encourage the purchase of Ontario food while supporting local agriculture, communities and the provincial economy.
