About the brand ❤️
Fulda is a German tyre brand with over a century of heritage. Founded in 1900 by Gustav Becker and Moritz Hasenclever in the city of Fulda, it initially manufactured rubber products and non-motorized vehicle tyres, then began producing bicycle, motorcycle, and car tyres by 1906. It became part of the Goodyear group in 1966, operating under Goodyear Dunlop in Germany. Fulda has long been known for combining quality German engineering with value, offering passenger-car, 4x4, light truck, and agricultural tyres. The Fulda plant in Germany has been a major manufacturing site, producing millions of tyres annually. In November 2023, Goodyear announced that the Fulda factory would be permanently closed by 2025 as part of cost optimization, though the Fulda brand will continue—with production moved to other facilities.
