George Shrinks is a Canadian children's animated television series based on the 1987 children's book by William Joyce. The series was co-produced by Nelvana Limited, a Canadian animation company, and Jade Animation, a Chinese animation studio. It aired from September 30, 2000, to January 23, 2003, on PBS in the United States and various networks in Canada. The show follows the adventures of a 10-year-old boy named George who wakes up to find himself three inches tall. Using his ingenuity and the help of his family, George navigates daily challenges and adventures. The series is known for its retro-1950s animation style and jazz-influenced music.
