About the brand ❤️
Grossmünster is a Romanesque-style Protestant church in Zürich, Switzerland, famous for its twin towers that dominate the city skyline. Built on the site of a Carolingian church, construction of the current structure began around 1100 and it was completed around 1220. It became a pivotal site in the Swiss-German Reformation under Huldrych Zwingli from 1520. Owned by the Canton of Zürich, the church features significant art and architecture: a Romanesque crypt, neo-Gothic tower tops added in the late 18th century, stained-glass windows by August Giacometti and Sigmar Polke, and a Reformation museum in the cloister. Grossmünster remains an active parish of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Zürich and is open to visitors who come to experience both its spiritual life and historic significance.
