Gulfstream Aerospace is an American aircraft manufacturer specializing in business jets. Its origins date to 1958, when Grumman developed the Gulfstream I, the first aircraft specifically designed for business travel. The company later moved its civil-aircraft operations to Savannah, Georgia, which remains its worldwide headquarters and main manufacturing center. Gulfstream produces large-cabin and long-range aircraft, including the G400, G500, G600, G700 and G800. Since 1999, Gulfstream has operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics and continues to serve customers worldwide.
