Hailo was a British taxi-booking technology company founded in London in 2011. It developed a mobile application that connected passengers with licensed taxi drivers, initially focusing on London's black-cab network before expanding to other cities in the UK, Ireland, Spain and North America. Hailo became one of the early pioneers of mobile taxi-hailing and processed millions of rides through its platform. In 2016, Hailo merged its business with Daimler-owned mytaxi, creating one of Europe's largest taxi-hailing services. The Hailo brand was subsequently retired in its main European markets and replaced by mytaxi.
