Hédiard is a legendary French luxury food and gourmet epicerie brand established in 1854 by Ferdinand Hédiard in Paris. Initially selling exotic spices, tropical fruits and colonial goods, it expanded over the decades into fine foods, beverages, preserves and specialty delicacies. The brand grew to operate boutiques in France and across the world. Facing financial difficulties, Hédiard declared bankruptcy in 2013, but was acquired and revived by the Austrian DO & CO group in 2014. Today, under DO & CO’s stewardship, Hédiard continues to preserve its heritage of gourmet curation, offering premium teas, fine chocolates, rare ingredients and artistic gift packages from its Paris base.
