Established under the Israir brand in 1996, it operates scheduled domestic flights and international passenger services from Ben Gurion International Airport, as well as charter and air-taxi operations. The airline connects Israel with destinations across Europe and nearby regions and also serves the domestic route between central Israel and Eilat. Israir is part of Israir Group, a publicly traded Israeli tourism and aviation company, and is currently Israel's second-largest airline.
