Kira Plastinina is a fashion label from Russia, founded in 2007 by Sergei Plastinin and named for his daughter, Kira, who became known early for her youthful fashion aesthetic. The brand rapidly expanded in Russia and CIS countries, offering trend-driven clothing aimed at teenagers and young women under names such as Kira Plastinina and its premium sub-label Lublu. At its peak, it operated hundreds of stores across multiple countries, but faced financial challenges abroad—especially in the USA—and gradually scaled back, closed many international outlets, and restructured its retail model. In Russia, the brand was relaunched via new legal entities around 2017, and some production was centralized to domestic factories. Despite setbacks, Kira Plastinina continues to have brand presence through franchised “studios of style” in Russia under newer company structures.
