Loading was a Brazilian free-to-air television channel created to target fans of pop, geek, and "otaku" culture, including anime, esports, manga, gaming, series and Asian culture content. It was launched in December 2020 under the ownership of Spring Comunicação and supported by the Kalunga group. Operating from São Paulo using the license previously held by Ideal TV and MTV Brasil, Loading sought to fill a niche for youthful entertainment beyond streaming platforms. However, its run was short: by May 2021 it stopped producing new content, and by late November 2021 it was entirely shut down, with its concessions and infrastructure reverting to Ideal TV. Despite its brief lifespan, Loading generated significant attention during its run among Brazil’s geek and pop culture audiences.
