About the brand ❤️
Manor Racing was a British Formula 1 team and constructor that competed in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, it originated in 2010 under the name Virgin Racing and evolved through several identities, including Marussia Virgin Racing and the Marussia F1 Team before becoming Manor Racing for the 2016 season. The team was owned by Irish entrepreneur Stephen Fitzpatrick, who acquired it following financial struggles tied to its previous backers. In its final season, Manor scored one championship point and participated in 21 Grands Prix, but ongoing financial challenges led the operating company Just Racing Services Ltd into administration, and the team folded in early 2017 when no buyer was found. Throughout its brief Formula 1 tenure, Manor was known for punching above its weight as a smaller competitor against better-funded teams, contributing to the sport’s diversity and serving as a stepping stone for emerging drivers.
