Montenegro Airlines was the national flag carrier of Montenegro, headquartered in Podgorica. Founded in 1994, the airline operated scheduled passenger services connecting Montenegro with major destinations across Europe, including cities in the Balkans, Central Europe, and Western Europe. Its fleet primarily consisted of Fokker 100 and Embraer E-Jet aircraft, serving both business and leisure travelers. The airline played an important role in supporting the country's tourism industry and international connectivity. Following prolonged financial difficulties and government restructuring of the aviation sector, Montenegro Airlines ceased operations in 2021 and was succeeded by the newly established Air Montenegro.
