JSC “АК «НордСтар»” (NordStar Airlines) is a Russian airline founded in 2008, with its first flights launching in 2009. Based in Norilsk, its main hub is Alykel Airport, with additional bases in major Russian cities like Moscow and Krasnoyarsk. Originally established and owned by Norilsk Nickel, one of Russia’s largest mining and metals companies, NordStar was sold in March 2022 such that the airline’s management now holds ownership. The carrier operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800 and 737-300 aircraft, serving dozens of domestic and some international routes, and is counted among the 15 largest airlines in Russia. It also holds membership in IATA and conducts scheduled and charter flights.
