Orlando City SC (Orlando City Soccer Club) is a professional American soccer team based in Orlando, Florida, competing in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference. Founded in 2010 as a United Soccer League (USL) club, Orlando City rapidly became successful in the lower divisions, which helped secure their MLS expansion, debuting in the 2015 season. The club plays its home games at Inter&Co Stadium and is owned by the Wilf family (Zygi, Leonard, and Mark Wilf). Known by fans as “The Lions,” Orlando City SC has established a strong local following and achieved notable milestones, including winning the U.S. Open Cup in 2022 and regularly competing in MLS playoffs.
