About the brand ❤️
Prince Motor Company was a pioneering Japanese automaker emerging from post-WWII aircraft manufacturers, officially taking the name in 1949 and later reestablishing as Prince Motor Company in 1961. Headquartered in Tokyo, the brand gained acclaim for engineering excellence and iconic models such as the Skyline and Gloria, and enjoyed motorsport success with the Skyline GT and R380. In August 1966, Prince merged with Nissan Motor Company, ending its standalone operations. The Prince name prevailed in sales through Nissan Prince dealerships until a full transition to Nissan Blue Stage in 1999.
