“R Market” was a specialist baby-food department brand introduced within Babies “R” Us stores in the United States around 2007. The idea was for customers to purchase baby food and related consumables under a coherent “R Market” branding within the larger toy/juvenile products retail environment. The logo used green (in contrast to the purple of Babies “R” Us). The brand never operated as independent retail outlets, but rather as a section inside existing stores. In 2018, as Toys “R” Us (and by extension its subsidiaries) entered bankruptcy and began shutting or restructuring operations, “R Market” was discontinued.
