Launched originally as RaiPlay Radio on 18 December 2017, it was rebranded to RaiPlay Sound on 9 December 2021. The service offers free access to live streaming of RAI’s national radio channels, on‑demand podcasts, audiobooks, and original programming across genres like news, culture, music, and education.
